Need Help Choosing Optical Drive

What kind of drive/drives should I get if all I want to do is play games and burn cd's?

You do not want a DVD player or burner, correct?

The LG drives seems to have a pretty high rating on every site I went to as well. Customer review ratings that is.

That's right, I figure I'll save some $$ by not having a DVD player plus I don't need one.

I wasn't really looking for brands of optical drives though, I was wondering what kind of drives I need to play games and burn cds. Like do I need CD+RW, CD+R, CD-R, CD-RW or what?? I don't know what any of those things are and I need help.
