Yes it's possible. You need to purchase a Power Inverter. It converts your car's DC power to AC. They come in different sizes, depending on the amount of power required.
Some power inverters come with a secondary power input line allowing you to connect it directly to the car's battery. This is however for eletricals which require alot of power. Most appliances can be powered using the the car's 12v power socket.
