Reformatting

We recently got a new PC, so we're giving our old Windows 98SE to our gransparents. Should I reformat it before I give it to them. Would that get rid of problems? All they need it for is a Word processor and to check there Juno mail. They don't have an internet connection.

that would clear any spam, bad registry files, or viruses... so if u can just format then reinstall windows and a word processor then that would be a good idea...

Face it, I suck with computers compared to pretty much anyone on this forum. I come for help pretty much. I'm a failure, I don't know how to reformat it

reformating is simple, and as for the drivers, just go to the manufacturers website...
