What's the best timing out of these:
2-2-2-8
2-2-2-6
2-3-3-8
2-3-3-6
2.5-2-2-8
2.5-2-2-6
2.5-3-3-8
2.5-3-3-6
1.5-2-2-8
1.5-2-2-6
1.5-3-3-8
1.5-3-3-6
2.5-2-2-9
2-2-2-9
1.5-2-2-9
2.5-3-3-9
2-3-3-9
1.5-3-3-9

I just got a new motherboard but windows seems to have problems with certain timings and I get blue screens. Also, with my old motherboard I was able to clock the chip @ 1.63GHz, with this board only 1.58GHz or it won't get past POST. I tried different voltages already.

1.5-2-2-6

That would be the tightest timings but only BH-5's will do that for the most part, that or underclocked RAM like I guess you're going to have it, but you'd probably still need a little extra voltage for that and even then I don't know if it'd do it.

What's the stock timings for that RAM? if it's something like 3-3-3-8 then since you aren't underclocking it THAT much I'd say 2.5-3-3-7 is safe and that's not even really worth changing it to as it's not a huge performance difference.

2-2-2-6 might be feasible with more voltage though, but if it's valueRAM it might fry under the voltage.

My mobo supports up to DDR333 (PC2600)
Sure that's a typo, but yeah you mean PC2700

I don't know the stock timings. All I know is that this mobo supports way more different timings than my old mobo. I used to run my RAM @ 2.5-2-2-5 but this combination is not available on this mobo. The closest I can get is 2.5-2-2-6. My RAM runs at FSB+33=185,1MHz so it's underclocked. Mostly when I change my RAM timings the system won't boot at all and I have to clear the CMOS. Right now my RAM is @ 2-3-3-8. I will try 2-3-3-6 or 2-2-2-8. Wich would be better?

And another question. What would be the worst timing possible so I can try to get my FSB higher without problems?

Well its early in the morning, and while I'm not a genius with ram timings, I would say disregard the middle two and look at the outer ones.

So i would go with something like 2.5-#-#-9

Leaving:

2.5-2-2-9
2.5-3-3-9

I would be led to think its the later of the two obveously, but what ever meets your stability needs is best.

Just something for you to start working with. See how far you get with 2.5-3-3-9 compared to what someone else suggests, its a start.

Good luck!
