Blowing Case out

I am a cheap SOB, and rather than buying canned air, I would rather use the air pump at the gas station for 50 cents. Is this dangerous for the internal components????

You could but you might want to let it sit for maybe a day or so after,The problem with using a compressor is sometime's there is water in the tank or in the line's.

canned air is pretty cheap anyway and if you dont use to much it will last a while

besides, at the gas station, a big SUV could drive by and land ur PC full of dust and mud

just stick your head in there and use your lungs.. thats what they are made for.

I use my own air compressor at home, I just don't pull it all the way, just lightly air it out and then make sure everything is still seated properly.

But like Shumway said, the problem with the one at the gas station is there could be water sitting in there, so just let some air out first and feel if there is water/get the water out.
