Ok, now to answer the final question, will continued use of the PC whilst i wait for my new PSU to arrive result in damage to my other hardware?

All i'm saying is by having a CPU running at this temperature it won't damage OTHER hardware?

Regarding the two fans that read 0 RPM, did you plug those 3 pin female plugins in somewhere on your mobo? I had a cheap case, with cheap fans, and they didn't even have those plugins, so my Chassis and 2nd fan's always read 0 RPM.

Also, try upgrading your bios, I had crazy temps before I did also.

Flashed my BIOS and got maybe a 5* - 8* temp decrease, not bad but not great I'm afraid.

WOOP! After switching my PC off for a night and coming back to it i find the temp at a constant 45*

Thanks Dude for suggestion the BIOS upgrade, worked like a 'charm' (i still ordered a new PSU and heatsink though)
