I'm pretty happy with my setup. I could use more storage. 80 gigs just doesn't last as long as you would think.

Also a DVD burner would be nice, but the speeds are too slow.

machine

I just upgraded the core of my system and am still waiting for some parts but here is a list of what I bought

Intel 2.8 GHz HT 800 MHz FSB
1 G PC3200 DDR 400 SDRAM
Intel 865PERL Mother Board
Seagate Barracuda 80GB SATA HDD

Since I bought an ATI9600 PRO a few months back, I didn't upgrade that

All for 800$ Cdn

This system is going to rock compare to what I used to have

Athlon 750 MHz
MSI K7 Ultra
256 M RAM PC133
15 GB HDD Generic

right now i got an MSI 875P neo-FIS2R mobo sitting at home (onboard gigabit lan, up to 4GB of pc4000 in dual channel, over 3.2GHz proc, built-in-bios overclocking and fan controller, 4 SATA channels, with 2 in RAID, 4 IDE channels with 1 in RAID, etc) im going to get a P4 2.8GHz, 2-4GB of PC4000, ATI all-in-wonder 8500, case w/ 450W PSU, DVD-burner, DVD-ROM, fastest CD-RW i can find, sound blaster audigy platinum audio, klipsch surround sound, 1 20GB HDD, 1 200GB HDD (why the 20 you ask? thats for nothing but the OS, i like to keep the os and my data separate, in case i gotta reinstall the OS or a new OS comes out, i dont screw up my data) and a 19-21" flat screen (CRT) monitor, o and i want all kinds of cool flashing lights and stuff, lol
