D dhw200 Fully Optimized Messages 2,433 Jun 19, 2005 #2 no, u cannot add Dimms. to do so requires a new mobo, and its impossible to switch mobos out on a laptop. How old is this laptop if it can only support 64MB? Have u tried putting larger sticks in?

OP OP S sgwyldechild Solid State Member Messages 9 Jun 19, 2005 #3 its an old thinkpad 560x, it can only take 64mb sticks.
