right decision?

Hello all, I had the following options for my pc

1. an AMD64 3500+ with 1 gig of RAM or
2. am AMD64 3200+ with 2 gig of RAM

I chose number 2 was i right? considering i play top end games and use apps like photoshop alot would i get more benifit with more ram than the CPU speed?

personally i would have taken number 1 because unless u do alot of things at once 1gb would probably suffice. either way theyre both nice

Well, you don't really need 2gb of ram, but there isn't much difference between the processors.

For top end games the GPU is what is important, not the processor or ram (but 1gb is required for flawless gaming)

I find that having more ram does help alot when your have a big area being used on art software, as if you don't have much, you can't have huge drawing space.

oh well i guess i wont see a huge differance between the 2. have a feeling i`ll be forced to upgrade soon new i should have waited a few months before i built my pc! thanks for your reply.
