good core for 754?

The highest they got in those articles was 2.57 GHz, and those people are extremely good overclockers, probably much better than anyone here. To expect those kind of results everytime from normal comp builders seems slightly far-fetched.

Thats with the old paris core. ANd they didnt push the cpu to the limits. Here is an article where they got it to 2.67. It uses the new core based on the venice.

Btw, they didn't do anythign special. They just upped the vcore and used the ram divider.

Keep in mind that the paris cores are .13 MM.

its the SiS 755 but if i do go for this i will be biuying an NF3 later from DFI (bows down to great Lanparties!!)

well im actually getting a combo w/ a 3200+ cause i cant afford to buy a cpu and then the NF3. its easyer just to get started w/ the ECS board that comes w/ it cause its the price of a cpu but comes w/ a board as well. ill just wait to get the NF3 lanparty.
