I have installed a few trial softwares before. After uninstalled those softwares, there seems to have alot of piece & bits of residual files left behind. Is there a software out there that can keep track of every pieces of informations, files or cookies that written on my hard disk while a software is being installed and keep a log of it?

I use to use Cleansweep a long time ago. I think Norton has the rights to the software now. It monitors installs & has a pretty slick uninstall feature that usually catches everything. Use this in conjunction with a good registry cleaner to get rid of all the leftovers. I use system suite now but I'm sure that these guys can also give ya their 2 cents worth.
