No, if u look at the mobo, its got a built in audio chip. u can get a better soundcard if u want, but if u want some real expertise on soundcards (i was born with a hearing disability, so im not gonna say anything about sound quality lol) talk to DJ Chris. He knows his stuff. Personally, i would just say stick with the integrated, but its ur choice

ok and do i have to get that case cause i found a sweet one called the 100239 - NO PS - Thermaltake VA7000BWA Shark Full

(can it play battlefield 2 and other title's such as doom 3 and HL2?)

indeed it can, and it will so quite well. Great computer. One thing, i noticed u didnt include a modem, if u want to do so. if u have cable, there is really no point though

Thermal Grease: 800018 - Shin-Etsu G675 Thermal Grease (Cools CPU $14.00 $14.00
Do they have an option for AS5? If so, do that.

Antivirus: 310509 - Norton AntiVirus™ 2005 (Retail Box) $42.00 $42.00
That Norton is not that great, and $42 is expensive. Download Trend PC-Illin from Newegg for $30.

I don't know much about thart LCD screen, You might want to research that a bit. Look for response time 12ms or under. You could always shop for that anywhere.

Overall though, looks like a great PC.

Lol, my friend got a dell dimension... HDD fried after 3 days. Dell tech support told him it was a modem problem! Took another week to figure out it was the HDD. Dell is for noobs.
