I have to agree with Him on that one. I put up a post a while ago about DDR2 memory, and the replies did not sell me on the idea of DDR2 memory. After a bit of research, I realized that companies don't like it for whatever reason it is and, like Him said, they're jumping straight to DDR3 and for now, just going with DDR. Something very fishy there if you ask me... I'd avoid it if I were you.

Ok, now you've got me thinking about motherboards. Are gigabyte any good. Im using one at the oment and it is working good. What will ASUS have over Gigabyte?

gigabyte are solid mobo's but you won't get many extras and it won't oc well while with asus u get fine to good oc performance and many features but you pay for it

I have to disagree. ASUS boards are WONDERFUL stock boards, with no mods. But when you get to OCing, they do not compare to Gigabyte. Get ASUS if you do not intend to OC, or just want an extremely moderate OC. Get Gigabyte or ABit if you intend on doing some hard OCs.
