Nope, I just go to play the finished product, and nothing happens, the DVD can't even be read. It says it a wrong type of disk.
 
An HP dvd300n. Though, strangely enough, the DVD's BIOS reports dvd300n, but the front of it says dvd300i. Weird huh?
 
the only other thing i can think of is trying another dvd to burn.

sometimes you can get bad batches.

or maybe you just got some cheap media.

i can say that you can get some of the best burners out there for under $60

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. Should have gotten a DVD-RW type. The ironic thing is that I'm still paying for this computer. Bought it from a friend.
