I was trying to figure out why my HP DVD300n was having trouble burning DVDs yesterday when I realised that I had had Easy CD creator 6 on there before. Now, I heard somewhere that you can't use easy CD creator with any other burning programs. Even after you uninstall it, it still won't allow you to use any other burning software. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

No don't give Nero a try. Get DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter.

you can't burn regular data dvds with those programs though

been using it for years now.

Not with any success, no. I'm messing around with Deep Burner as we speak, but it seems that my burner want's to think It's empty when in fact I have a DVD in it. When it does become ready, it takes 5 minutes to become so.

your dvd burner could be broke.

i've been through alot of dvd burners myself.
