I am trying to run an unattended installation of windows 2000 pro with just the cd and floppy. Made an unatteded installation txt file then renamed it winnt.sif and still doesnt work for me, Made my unattend file from the setupmg.exe on the windows 2000 cd under support folder. Read the word document there and it tells me to do all this and it doesnt work. Has anyone got this to work? Can anyone give me any pointers on what the heck I am doing wrong?

you can use nLite to set up unattended installations. i used it to slipstream a service pack (SP2) remove rubbish like msn explorer and windows messenger AND perform an unattended install. on xp. it also works for win2000. a really good program and easy to use!

hope you find it useful, it's nice being able to boot from a disk, leave the pc for an hour and have a nice fresh windows when you come back!
