I've got a small office network - 6 computers - in an engineering office, that all use Windows XP and Norton anti-virus. They all need to access files on (mainly) one computer that acts as a file server but is technically just set up as another computer.

What is the best configuration of firewall settings that allows some protection but also allows the users to access the files on the other computers without having to change any settings?

Thanks to any member that can provide any thoughts, I'm sure the answer is on one of these threads somewhere........
