Hi, I'm still am a little confused on this, could anyone tell me if I were to buy an AMD athalon 64 3500+ do I have to get PC 3500 ram to make it run properly or could I get something like PC 3200? and if it doesn't matter do the CPU and RAM speed relate to each other in any way?

Thanks in advance.

No you don't. Just get PC3200. The CPU and RAM relate in the speed of the memory controller that is integrated on the amd processor.

Your motherboard controls what type of RAM you use, not what processor you get. Most use 3200, some 4000, but those are the new, new ones.
