i dont wanna have to import huge monitors from the us to the uk, cos they will have huge shipping cost - like $300, and i only buy £50 monitors

what does tv out actually do ? send signals to a tv or monitor ?

TV, so you can watch movies or have dual display or just use your TV as monitor. Bad quality though, but probably better on LCD TV's (?).

Uhm, I guess LCD TV's are connected to DVI anyways, if I'm not mistaking.
