non sense I have 480 for RAM and it works fine. You need a MSDN membership to get the beta. Profeshional and up to be exact. If they is Microsoft they need to re-look the requirements because my PC which was built in 2000 can handle it fine.

No need to apologize we all make small mistakes I just thought a gig was way unlikely when you think it runs fine on 480 RAM. I'm sure 480 RAM will feel more sluggish though by the time BETA 2 arrives early 2006.

256 is about 1 stick of RAM isn't it? I'm sure most people have more ram than that I mean there are not too many people left with +8 year old PCs.

Lots of eMachines still have 256, and lots of people buy'em <shakes his head in dismay>
