Alright, so I'm thinking about buying an AMD 64 and a mobo. A few questions:
1. What's the best core for gaming without OCing? Still Venice?
2. Is there a big difference between 3200 and 3500?
3. Good PCI-e socket 939 mobo for $100 or less?
Thanks.

Dude, you do have an intel and should have got an AMD, but a 3200+ and a 100$ mobo will be the same / worse than your current setup.

Unless your on some sort of drug like crack (minus the addiction, because you would have sold your PC) you should keep your current PC

itll only be marginally better if you overclock it
and i really wouldnt reccomend buying a - $100 mobo
save your money up and get a lanparty
non sli is only $135

also they dont make san diego cores for the 3200+

you can sell your PC now, get an old one temporarly, and then get like the Athlon X2 or something, with a new gen. vid card, and you'll be rocking...

So I should keep my P4 setup you all say?
Then what about a Leadtek 6800GT? I just found out it's 256mb and I saw that heatsink and started salivating at the OCing possibilities...
