Yesterday i went up to a friends house with a old Beige case i found on the side of the Road. Firstly we cut a hole in the side. Then we started to paint the outside black. Then we painted the button Red, and the Drive bay covers red. We then painted the inside of one of the side panels Red. Then we Glued in the Perspex and Painted the Back Black.
This is our final product:

It was the first time i have ever done something like this

Any opinions?

Thanks
Wayne

more pics
also put some led fans in it and cut some fan holes on the window
put in some cathodes

and made sure do something with those psu wires

Haha, you read my mind completely, im about to order 1x 120mm Red LED fans (for the window), 1x 80mm Red LED fans for the Front. 1x Red Cold Cathode (12"). Also, i might try to do a DIY cable sleeving with the PSU and soon to be IDE cables.

That twistedmods article is where i got the idea for this.

well, if you have bothered to read the rest of the thread, this is the first time i have ever done something like this, so i dont know all the tricks. What would your first attempt look like? By the way, i cant quit my day job because i dont have one, im only 14.

edit:

The case was already pretty scuffed up when i FOUND IT on the SIDE OF THE ROAD with some deep scratches on the metal and plastic.
