Windows 98 to Windoows 2000 conversion

hehe... most newer models is... above 486...cause if someone is pulling power cords to turn off... their previous was probably pretty old (dont wanna sound rude on this)

That, or from what i recall from working on 2000-reinstalled-over-98 (Fresh Install) Windows 2000 doesn't enable auto-shutoff by default. I had to manually switch it via the Power Options Control Panel.

yup.. i jus put that computer back to win 98 and now erything is good... but thats fer ya da help.
