I am not following what you are saying. Is it that make sure that the case supports ATX and the mobo supports ATX and the mobo socket must match the socket on the case?

I just meant if the mobo is ATX, make sure the case is too. If the mobo is socket 939, make sure the processor is socket 939. If the mobo is AGP, make sure the graphics card is AGP.

I've briefly looked at your stuff... looks like you'll be fine. Looks like that case will work, other one would have too.

Really? Are you sure? I just really need to be sure, I trust your opinion over Shibby's just because you have more posts and seem more professional. It seems you have the same processor and nearly similar setup, yet you use 500 watt power supply.

Here is how it is setting. You'll probably want a larger power supply, just for the future. Your motherboard, processor, and case will be fine. As for your RAM, you probably don't want value RAM. I have value RAM, and I wish I didn't (haha). Look at this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146890 It is expensive, but the timings are good and it is good all around RAM. Hmmm... what else... graphics card. It is a 6800GT made my evga, looks good, but it has only a 128 for memory size and interface. It is up to you if you want to go for the 256 or not.

As for hard drives, if you're going to get an 80 gig, might want to think about sacrificing about 7 gigs and getting a raptor made by western digital. Those work at 10,000 rpms and are SATA. They're great. Anything else?

I only got like up to 100$ more on my bugdet so unfortunetely the ram has gotta stay, the HDD looks sweet but it soooo expensive :/. The graphics card I will replace with a PCI-E 16x when nividia releases the 7800GT, that's why I went cheap for now. Soo which case+PSU with cooling system/fans should I go for if I plan on upgrading later on and I will need more power? Can you link me cause I am kinda clueless with all the compatibility.

RAM, check out the twinMOS (the second link I gave you). That is good cheap RAM, and for the future, if needbe, it'll overclock very nicely. AND it is only $84 I think. As for the PSU, most people will tell you differently, but the PSU that comes with the case will be fine for the beginning. Just make sure it is at least 450 watts. If you want a good reliable PSU though, I think thermaltake ones are good, but I don't have much experience with PSUs. I wouldn't worry about it right away with a tight budget.

As for cooling. Make sure you have at least 3 case fans I'd say. You'll probably want a side fan that is preferable 120mm for intake. You'll also want a front and back fan (80 or 120 mm) with the front as intake and back as exhaust. If you can, get a fan on top too set to exhaust. Processor cooling. I've heard good things about the zalman 7700 cu (i probably slaughtered the name) and I use the Silent Boost K8 which it says is made for Athlon 64 processors. I have an overclocked processor (from 1.8 GHz to 2.3 GHz), and on a cool day (without this bloody hot weather) I am idle around 35 c.

EDIT: I also bought a 20 pin to 24 pin converter just in case of the scenerio I listed above - it was only $8 altogether so it's worth it and not worth the hassle.

I believe you are going to need only 1 grounding cable and also you don't need the best cable ties your only going to need about 20 not 100.

It has 3 fans a mix of 80 and 120 mm, so I believe cooling should be sufficient. I am just curious and not sure about it having enough power to run the computer. The other guy in this thread said I would need at least 450w. It seems like a big case so everything should fit too, right? These are really my only last questions, if everything else is compatible...
