Has anyone had any experience with this board and can tell me if it would be possible to fit the new volcano 12 on there, it looks like a very close fit.

i assume you mean the basic model, one guy is saying

"Currently running a 2500+ Barton at 2.2ghz (3200+) at 36 degrees celcius with a volcano 11+."

if the vocano 11 is the same size as 12 than it should fit according to that guy. this was from http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-455&depa=1&section=3
