Catalyst 5.6 is released!

Quick question, is there a reason why you must have .NET installed in order to download the second package containing the Catalyst Control Center?

What exactly is .NET for?

.NET is the framework that the CATALYST Control Center uses to run. I use the ccc myself but I had some issues with .NET 1.1. But .NET 2.0 beta, which you can download from Microsoft, works perfectly for me.

Thanks for the info btw. They released this driver pretty quick.
