BIOS flash

If I goof up my BIOS with a BIOS flash, can I just pull the battery and put it back in and have everything be okay? Or will it corrupt windows and stuff too if I do a BIOS flash and it is unsuccessful?

if you duck up the flashing, the puter wont boot up anymore. you will have to change the whole bios chip. in case you dont happen to have any spare bios chips with the right bios version lying around, u'll have to send the whole board to somewhere where they do this for you.

yep. btw. i did my last bios update within windows with abit's (my mobo is Abit's AN7) handy lil proggie. was easy and fast.

if you screw up a bios flash, you will need to get the physical bios chip replaced. Be very careful.

yea then you can do a hot flash I think it is look it up. but you need 1 working chip but you might be able to but them sepretly a while back nubius was talking about this.
