ok that is your modem you will need to install drivers for it either off of the cds they provided you with or from somewhere on the web

Please post the model number of you Ashton Digital passport. Looking on their support site you may be able to download the drivers from here http://www.ashtondigital.com/support/download/

It's ashton digital passport 2000
I already checked the website, but they don't have any drivers available, or listed for windows XP.
So do I look for "PCI simple communications controller driver"?
or do I look for my modem driver?
I just tried one driver from windows xp driver's guide for my modem "PCtel HSP micromodem" but it does not work.

Much thanks to BHoney for AIM'ing me the right driver for my PCtel HSP micromodem.. I finally got the problem fixed
