Blackouts

First off i would like to say Hello to everyone, Hello lol

Anyways I just finished making my new pc well actualy i finished it last month but i been getting a problem that i wonder if you could help me. I been getting monitor blackouts when when doing things like surfing net watching video clips and now its happening when playing game wat happens is my pc montior goes black for a second or two then comes back on. Sometimes the screen is abit blured untill i min/max the screen any ideas why this is happening i can't put my finger on it.

My Specs
A8N-SLI Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
1024 DDR RAM
Asus EN6800 Ultra
480W PSU Thermaltake with a 20/24 Pin adapter
Windows XP Pro Service pack 2 ( Not the 64 bit one )
I also got a DELL 2001FP pc monitor that runs at 1600x1200 @ 60hrz
As far as i know all drivers are upto date and nothings overclocked.

Post any ideas even if its a stab in the dark.

I would get the latest drivers, which is 71.89.

Check what temperature your GPU is at, just incase it is over heating.

After that, try a different monitor, if the same thing happens on a different monitor, it is the graphics card, if it doesn't than it is the monitor.

ok i tryed what you said.
It appears to only be happening on my DELL Screen but. It only dose it at 1600x1200.

I need to do more testing to make sure but thats as far as i can tell ATM
