DVD drive isnt reading DVD format data discs

ok i basicly tried 2 get some game off my dads laptop onto a dvd disc and onto a dvd disc , it succefully burned using nero and my dads laptop reads is fine , but my desktop PC doesnt read the disc at all , its just not there. so wat do i do? plz help

i did , i installed it and then rebooted and then on start-up it said : windows detected an instaled driver which may cuase instability the driver has been disabled. so basicly i hav 2 roll back the driver right?
