What do i need to read a DVD+R

i received a DVD+R but i'm unable to play it. i'm using a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R2212 but it doesn't recognize anything on the disk.

hmmm maybe the disk session wasnt closed right. I would try the UDF reader as EricB mentioned. Does it look like it has burned data on it? If you look on the data side of the disk can you see the light blue burned spot..maybe its blank...

i downloaded and installed udfread_v5.1.1.213_inst.exe but it didn't help. do i have to setup anything?

it does look like something has been burned onto the disc.
