Nero Burning ROM BIG problem

I have a box of Lokik CD-RW discs NONE of them work. I use Nero Burning ROM and Backitup neither work. Nero says stuff like "Unspecified target error", Invalid write state, could not perform end track, could not perform fixation.

I try normal XP writing it doesnt work it says it is write protected.

I try InstantWrite format it doesnt work.

What is the problem??? Id give more details but tell me which details you want.

Did you try cd+rw, cd+r?

i think you're thinking of DVDs.

its cd-rw not cd-r and one thing is amazing ANOTHER BRAND of cd-rws WORKS. I thought theyre all the same wtf wtf.

Try another brand if you got some or a different drive.

It's quite possible as Warez has pointed out that you just might have a brand that just won't work with your particular drive. It's not too common an issue but it does happen.

eventually the company that makes your cd burner will come out with a firmare upgrade to make it record those cds.

you are lucky. these day most cd and dvd disc are compatible with most burners. 4 years ago you had to buy specific brands of media for specific burners
