Ok, i need a little bit of help here, kinda confused

Ok, the first thing is your Hard drive. The speedup with getting a newer faster hardrive is on the computer's boot time, program load time and data transfer rates.

The second thing is memory, this will increase the speed of running programs once they've loaded.

Standards these days are between 512MB and 1GB of ram and 80GB SATA Hard drives.

ok, good thing i got that sorted out, so would a 160 gb hard drive and 2x512 mb corsair run counter strike source, half life 2, and other games at a good speed?
