lol i just use wateva the hell is closest.....i have a computer on my lounge floor along with a hell of a lot of partsa and stuff. if all i can reach is a cd case thats what i use coz carpet doesnt work 2 well. ok now in seriousness theres something called a "thunderpad" i think it is. comes in its own padded little case

a piece of tarmac, lasts long and don't move around too easily. plus it looks pretty masculine. only minus side is mouse sliding capability.
