the only difference between all the Venice's are the stock speeds, so I would get a low-end Venice core, and overclock the bejeeses out of it

But if u think about it, u could prolly get a 3200+ to say 4000 speeds, i duno much about the terminology, but if u buy a 3800 it will reach further

no not really. the 3800+ is 2.4GHZ stock
all Venices are pretty much guaranteed at least 2.6GHZ, 90% will get about 2.8GHZ or a bit more (talking about stock cooling of course)
