one more question about motherboard

OK I downloaded belarc advisor and it told me all I wanted to know about my computer exept the motherboard. Is the motherboard also known as the main circuit board if so here's what they said i have-
Board: Trigem Computer, Inc. Cognac
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies LTD 2.03 08/12/00

Is this a type of motherboard? And which part of this jumble of words is the motherboards name?

Thanks I kinda wanted to know to put it in my signiture but more importantly because I know certain upgrades are not compatible with certain motherboards. By the way how do my system specs look, considering I just learned some of them existed two days ago.
