I decided to run abit eq on my rig and run sisoft sandra's burn in wizard

as of right now it has peaked at 54C yeah that was not a typo
thats almost 135C is this too hot? or is it still safe i just purchased this

five bucks so all in all not a bad investment also got a pci fan card with an 80mm fan on it. its red now but im gonna switch it with a manually adjusted blue led one which totalled about 6 bucks for both hopefully this will cool down my heck a hot cpu
let me know if this hsf was a good deal
i saw it at fry's today for 20 bucks so i dont think i did too bad
 
Nice pickups on the cheap :) I like your first choice.....believe it or not but i've never seen that before(that type of fan),lol.:(
 
mmmm fan controllers are tricky with my case
there is about 1/6inch between door and front pannel
contoller would have to be super low profile
so i dont know
 
That isnt that bad, my parents northwood runs at 57

And during a freak accident of unplugging the fan before benchmark, i reached 110+ degrees

Computer crashed, would not boot (said tempetarutre error) and the BIOS told me the temp.
