quick poll: easy but good program to edit stuff that camcorders record

we have a school project where we have to demonstrate the daily life of a high school student

my and a few friends decided to use a camcorder to record everything

however, im going to have to edit the stuff we record

what's a good program to do it with (nothing complicated; but it can't be some crappy program either)

i'm not sure what programs i have access to, but i know i can get ulead video studio, some pinnacle stuff, and adobe premier pro (dad's friend has all these overstock programs that i could get for free)

Great program, easy UI

Pinnacle Liquid 6 Pro

Great program, Cryptic UI

Liquid 6 has lots of sweet pro effects that come bundled with it. One of the cooler features it has is green/blue screen ability.. But unless you have time to sit down and learn the UI its pointless..

I have liquid 6 at home, i've played with it here or there but never really learned it. I'm planning on buying a copy of premier so i can break apart footage i've recorded on another computer from tv.
