Need help to build a micro computer.

ok i dont have money right know but i need some help for a good to ok set-up not for gaming. im only going to use this for images,internet,web design, maybe learn programming, i have a cd-rom a floppy,ide cables. i would like it to be quiet but cool not hot hot.

well just get one of those mATX cube cases with the motherboard already assembled, add a spare gfx card (or buy a cheap one), add a gig of corsair value ram, and get a zalman 7700-cu cpu fan (they're around $50 though) or maybe a fanless heatpipe cpu cooler (dunno how hot they would get )

Do you need this computer small for travel reasons? Because small computers=warmer computers. For your needs, a Intel would be ideal. What do you think of 64Bit Intels? They are pretty expensive, above 200$ from what i seen. But i think everyone should start investing in 64bit computers.

You can get a 32bit Intel, but in 2006 you will start seeing alot of 64bit applications. AMD 64bits are alot cheaper. If you want a cheaper 64bit, then AMD is your choice. But for your tasks, Intel is ideal. You tell me.

thats my whole point i dont wont to spend so much on a micro for that i build a atx which i dont what i want a good to ok micro that if i want i could upgrade later on you know.
