speaker problem

i just installed my new mobo(epox8rda3+), power supplie and ram(kingston Technology Hyper X 512ddr 3000). i reformated, and got everything up but for some reason windows is only seeing 2 speakers instead of 5. I turned off the on board sound; i do get sound from the 2 front speakers not the rears. Anyone no what i can do?

You may want to check if you have xp go to control panel.....sound and audio devices......Advanced (on the speaker settings section).....And you can change the speaker setup to what to want it to be see if that works for you.
