Thanks for the info on virtual ram. I checked my pc, I have a gb of ram and the page file is over 1500mb. Should i change this what that insert suggests? Would there be any problem increasing it, I have the drive space.
yes I had always set my ram to 2.5X the physical ram as books and magazine suggested years ago. but back then you had a monster system if you had anything over 256mb of ram
those same book later on said lower the page file when you have more physical ram (1 gig & up ), but that was confusing with earlier reports. so I researched it.
I set my ram on it's own partition (a 3 gig even though I use 1 gig) at the begining of my sata storage drive. I notice a world of difference
