i just bought an amd 64 3200 and board and i needed to uprade my video card, serious lag issues, so i went out and purchased and asus n6600 256 mb nvidia video card, i had a bfg 5500 128 mb card, should i have chose a different video card, but still sating in that price range $250 canadian, i also have 768 mb ram and 2 40 gig hardrives, so do u think my computer will now fly, thanx,

You should of bought the GeFOrce 6600GT 128MB. it has higher clock speeds/bandwidth so its much faster.

Even though it would have definitely been worth it to get the 6600GT, your 6600 will be a bunch better than your 5500.

256mb ram doesn't even matter, because not only do the current games not use up a lot of memory (unless you play at high settings, which your card can barely run)

the regular 6600 sucks ass, you gotta go with the 6600gt

if you boght it at a store, then just return it to the store and say that it didn't work on your computer
