How the heck do I clean my burner lens?

I've bought 2 cd, cd-rom, cd/dvd, cd/dvd-rw cleaning discs. They work fine in all my cd players, dvd players, and cd-rom/dvd drives in both of my computers, but will NOT read in the burners on both machines.
Any ideas?

if they do not read in both burners that is probably telling you that it is not because of dirty lens.
