Go with the Logitech MX518!!! It is 1600dpi and can track movments at 15g's with a 5.8MP camera!!!!

Um, so is the diamondback Personally, the hardware dpi switching is a bad idea. Running at a low dpi with a high sensitivity is not as good as running at a high dpi with a low sensitivity. It's hard to explain, but the diamondback is better.

Diamondback is better than mx1000. Is it better than MX518? I personally think the MX518 is more comfortable and more natural, plus you DONT need to install drivers for it

To get ultimate peformance out of a 518 you need the right drivers...
