Hi ,
Guys , I have a serious issue , realy not kidding .
I'm trying to enable IE 6 on winXP to load image files by default , like bmp and jpg. I mean if I click on image file from windows explorer or put correct path in IE address bar , a given image should be opened right there in IE .
What happens : Instead of being opened by IE , MSPaint or Windows Preview applications ovverides my request . Any attempt to open file from IE fails , its like IE redirects it into Paint or whetever. I'v tried to change file ext. in "registered file type" in folder options " , didn't work. Also played with registry .
Nothing ....
I have no idea what to do .

Please help .

thanx.

Hi kogi, press shift + right click if you're using 98 or right click if you're using XP on the .bmp or .jpg file. Then choose "Open with". Next, choose IE6 and select "Always use the selected program ...". Click OK and try to open it. :)

Yes I did it , but nothing works . In some way , windows XP recognize image files and uploading them with MSPaint or Windos FAx Preview .
