yeah under normal circumstances i don't "remove" it, but it stopped repsonding, so i tried that to kind of restart it or whatever, but then i didn't know how to get it back without restarting the computer. so i guess what i am asking is there a way to make the comp recognize the usb device after it's been removed, you know since you can't just unplug and replug it like an external usb device?
