ok my specs are listed and my computer shuts down @ about 50 degrees C....my bios has no features to edit this...i was wondering if anyone knows a way to disable this so my cpu doesnt shut off @ such a low temp???

thanks to all

It might have something to do with being overclocked. Are you positive that it is related to temperature and not CPU load. Dont forget that temperature increases with CPU load.

Im no OCing pro, but maybe your voltage isnt high enough on your CPU, and thats causing instability.

well i have a 2700+ and i only have the FSB at 100 so i mean its only reading @ a 1500+....underclocked to the max......if i turn it up to normal settings it shuts off twice as fast

do u have some monitoring software come with the motherboard installed?? like for intel, the software Active Monitors does turn off ur PC if exceed a certain temperature.

hmm i dunno how to find out if i do...i just know i installed the mobo drivers from the cd....
