they are single-phase change cooling, as opposed to huge crazy overclocking setups that are triple-phase change cooling

The Prometia setup costs some $800-$1000, and I imaginbe the mach is the same. Build your own. It is cheaper, and far more fun. Not nearly as easy, but you will guarenteed learn new things. I read a review from a guy who built a phase change for $65. You can get things like the compressor for free if you go to the right place and have excellent linguist skills. Just go buy a small used fridge and build it out of that.

Great sites to help you on your quest for extreme cooling. I am currently undertaking the same quest, and am learning a buttload of stuff. Good thing i do it at work, so I also get paid to learn it all!

Also read up on refrigerators and AC units and how they work, it will help you understand. Phase change is pretty much just a refrigerator, just with some modifications. Look it up yourself though. Good lunk!

Nice, very indepth step-by-step to building a single stage phase change system. It is alot easier than most people think, but still has it's degree of difficulty to it.

People you work with are retarted, they are also the one's that put soundblasters in the PC's you sell right?

Theres only one guy at work that sells soundblasters .. Hes the lazy one that doesnt like to sell people stuff that is known to be better than what they want. Just so happens to be the same guy that sells all the dual xeon machines i have to build. Everyone knows opterons are WAY faster.. I hate lazy people =/

As far as DFI is concerned, theyve never been a major player before so i can understand why we've never gotten any DFI mobos in.. Supermicro for dual xeons, gigabyte for amd 939, tyan for dual opteron (2885 and 2895)..

If you are Ocing with AMD, use a DFI board. They are the best. The voltage regulators are smart, among other things.

As far as liquid nitorgen goes.... ouch. I've seen it too. You need special cylindars to use it, and it is rather difficult to get your hands on. I would use it myself, but it has significant life-ending qualities to it, and I, personally, want to stay alive so I dont feel like messing with it.
