Apple using Intel

will that mean that macintoshes will use x86 processors, or will intel make PPC processors.

Well, if Apple switches to x86 one of two things happens, Apple goes out of business quickly, or turns things around in a major way and outs windows out of business.OS X on x86 hardware means windows loses bigtime.
