venice, it'll overclock to 3500+ speeds easily, run cooler, and has more instructions

AMD dual cores are coming out May 31st.

It just might be worth waiting for...

Geez, I remember seeign a price list somewhere... Maybe it was on theinquirer.net?

Google it and see what you come up with. Or check AMD's site. INQ got their chart from somewhere else, but I don't remember where.

A lot, thats all you need to know. Just kiddng but I'm betting around what an FX-53 costs, most likly closer to an FX-55.

Actually, I think that they were not way out of the ballpark to what is out there now. The price for the model number was pretty much in line.

Seems that the highest one was still a little lower that the FX.

But, then, I ain't as young as I used to be...

no use in going dual-core anytime soon... have you gusy seen the benchmarks? lower performance on pretty much all games, increase in audio-video stuff, but who cares about that here? everything that matters won't really increase, now the venice looks amazing, it can easily hit 2.9 GHz with 13% vcore increase, absolutely killer. go venice all the way.
